Key Stage 3
Our aim is to produce learners who are confident and effective users of ICT. We recognize that ICT has the ability to motivate and enthuse pupils, to enable them to work individually, co-operatively and collaboratively and to develop perseverance and flexibility and we will plan opportunities for pupils to develop these skills.
Our KS3 ICT caters for students who have little technical knowledge and those who are have a good basic understanding of ICT. The lessons are both enjoyable and skills enhancing and give them a good platform to move onto the next levels. Key Stage 4
The school recognises the importance of success in this area and its contribution to the success of pupils in other areas of the curriculum. We have large contingents of students who have opted for GCSE and we are committed to improving results at this stage. Each person at this level has the opportunity to achieve a worthwhile certificate that will help them move into the world of work or to Post 16 education.
